Our 60-minute consultations are an in-depth discussion about your fertility, and can advise you on the next steps to take. To maximise the efficiency of your consultation, we gather information before hand on your fertility journey, such as diagnostic test results, previous treatment details and background history. It is important to schedule these fertility consultations with notice, so that our doctor can review all materials before your consultation. 

The 60-minute fertility consultation may be suitable if you:

• Would like to chat about where you are in your journey and where you would like to be
• Have had previous fertility treatment
• Have a complex medical or fertility history
• Would like to explore treatment options
• Have previous fertility investigations you would like to discuss
• Have been trying for pregnancy for 12 months and would like to explore your next steps

For those who have had no previous fertility tests or treatment, and would simply like to become more fertility aware, our 20-minute consultations may be a better place to start. These shorter conversations will help you to understand the diagnostic fertility tests available here at Apricity and can start you off on your journey.

If you (or your partner, if you have one) have been trying for pregnancy for 6-12 months and would like to start with a fertility assessment to gain a better understanding of your fertility, our diagnostics packages might be more appropriate.

Our clinical team is happy to review and consider basing their recommendations on any previous fertility consultations, diagnostic tests and scans provided by patients (either performed by the NHS or paid for at another clinic) as long as they have been carried out within the last 6 months, there have been no changes to circumstances or medical history since the tests were performed, and the laboratory used meets the UK regulatory requirements. We reserve the right to request that tests be repeated through Apricity's providers if deemed necessary by the clinical team.

Cancellations

If cancelled or rescheduled with more than 48 hours’ notice before your scheduled appointment, you will not be charged.  If cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice, you will be charged in full for the consultation.
