For heterosexual couples wanting to start a family, this package will help identify which of our fertility treatments is the best pathway for you. Once your fertility tests have been carried out and analysed by our experts, we will advise on whether IVF, IVF +ICSI, IUI (intrauterine insemination) with donor sperm, or IVF with donor sperm is best suited to you as a couple.

After completing our fertility questionnaire, our female fertility tests will provide you with an assessment of your fertility, which includes:

• Ultrasound scan, to help us assess your uterus and ovaries
• Anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH), a blood test to indicate your ovarian reserve
• Thyroid profile, a blood test to assess thyroid function
• Consultation with a fertility specialist to explain your results.

Additionally, this diagnostics package will provide your couple with male fertility tests, which takes an in-depth look at sperm count. The semen analysis helps to test sperm health by exploring:

• morphology (sperm appearance),
• concentration (number of sperm)
• and motility (movement of sperm).

Results from this analysis are reported according to the WHO (World Health Organisation) criteria. It is important to note that semen analyses can vary over time. If your last semen analysis was over 6 months ago, or you have reason to believe your sperm quality has changed, we would recommend that you repeat the test.

Following your couple’s fertility tests, our post-result consultation can be done with one of our fertility specialists either over the phone or online. This consultation is designed to ensure you understand your fertility test results and have the opportunity to ask any questions on next steps.
