Female + Female Fertility Tests with Apricity

For lesbian couples wanting to start a family, this package will help to point you in the right direction of the next steps in your fertility journey. Once your female fertility tests have been carried out and analysed by our fertility specialists, we will recommend which of our routes are suited to you, including Shared Motherhood, IUI (intrauterine insemination) with donor sperm, and IVF with donor sperm.

Your female fertility assessment includes the following items, to provide you both with a picture of your fertility:

• 2 x Ultrasound scans, to help assess your uterus and ovaries (one ultrasound scan per woman)
• 2 x Anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH), a blood test to indicate your ovarian reserve (one blood test per woman)
• 2 x Thyroid profile, a blood test to assess thyroid function (one blood test per woman)
• Consultation with a fertility specialist to explain your results

Following your couple’s fertility tests, our post-result consultation can be done with one of our fertility specialists either over the phone or online. This consultation is designed to ensure you understand your fertility test results and have the opportunity to ask any questions on next steps.

Once your diagnostics package is booked, an advisor will offer you a choice of clinics for your fertility tests, and arrange all of your appointments. We are a virtual clinic with partner treatment centres in London, Manchester, and Hertfordshire. We have low or no-travel fertility diagnostics and treatment options, so we may be able to help regardless of where you are.
