Our Egg Donation & IVF Package is designed for women who are unable, for a range of reasons, to use their own eggs to have a child. This specific package will focus on finding you the perfect exclusive 1:1 egg donor through our partner company Altrui, carefully matching you using information that both you and the egg donor have provided. We will include the initial medical screening and assessment that your donor is required to have before being accepted.
A full IVF cycle is also included, consisting of one episode of ovarian stimulation for the egg donor, followed by egg collection, fertilisation, and one transfer event of resultant embryo(s) for the egg recipient.
Carefully considering your physical characteristics, background, and interests, we aim to find you a donor who has similarities to your personality and character. In addition to this, we will use a photograph of yourself – and one of you together, if you are a couple – to match with photographs we have of the egg donor, as an extra guide.
Once we have identified one of our altruistic donors as a perfect match for you, we will provide you with as much non-identifying information as we can about them - including information about her background, physical characteristics, whether she has children and if possible, a photograph of your egg donor as a child up to the age of six. You will also be provided with a personal profile that your donor has written for you, sharing her reasoning for donating eggs.
Our Egg Donor Match & Screen package includes the medical screening needed to ensure that your donor’s eggs can be used. After we have completed this assessment and found your perfect match, the embryology and IVF cycle can begin, which can be broken down into 5 steps:
1. Ovaries of the egg donor are stimulated with a course of fertility medication, in order to produce multiple eggs.
2. The eggs are then retrieved from the ovaries at the optimal time.
3. After the eggs have been collected, they are fertilised with sperm from either a male partner or a donor in our laboratory.
4. Embryos that are the result of fertilisation are cultured in the lab for three to six days.
5. One of the embryos is then inserted into the uterus of the egg recipient, in order for pregnancy to begin.
Once the embryo has been transferred, you will be given a date on which to take a pregnancy test – usually around two weeks later.
In collaboration with Altrui Egg Donation
We offer this service in collaboration with our sister company Altrui, UK leaders in egg donation. Our unique approach puts you and your donor at the centre of everything that we do, ensuring you both have the right information, support and medical care to give you the best chances of success.
Egg Donation is a commonly used option for same-sex male couples, who need the help of an egg donor and surrogate. This fertility pathway is also a popular treatment for heterosexual couples who have previously had rounds of unsuccessful IVF treatment and are looking for another option. Egg donation also means that women who cannot produce eggs due to medical conditions, cancer treatment, or the menopause, still have the option of motherhood. There may be unexplained female fertility problems, which egg donation can be a solution for.
The Egg Donation Recipient package that we offer is in collaboration with our sister company Altrui, who are UK leaders in egg donation. With no waiting list for donors, we provide exclusive 1:1 egg donation, with a medically screened donor that is carefully matched with our recipients. Once the perfect donor match has been found, we provide as much non-identifying information that we can. After the eggs have been collected from your donor, they are fertilised with sperm from a male partner or a donor in our laboratory. The resulting embryos are then inserted into the uterus of either a female partner, or a surrogate, for pregnancy to begin.
Undergoing donor egg IVF is a secure option for women and couples in the UK looking to start a family, or have another child. The eggs from your matched donor will be safely stored for your exclusive future use, to ensure genetically related siblings. Choosing Egg Donation with Apricity and Altrui is often incredibly successful for our patients, as we have the highest pregnancy rates in the UK for this fertility service.
If you're unsure which treatment is right for you, please get in touch with our fertility advisors; they will provide guidance and help you explore your options.

A full IVF cycle consists of one episode of ovarian stimulation followed by egg collection for the egg donor and one transfer event of resultant embryo(s) for the recipient.

The HFEA considers that there isn't enough evidence to support the efficacy of some "add-on" treatments such as time-lapse imaging or PGS, which is why we do not include them in our standard pricing packages. We also do not include non-routine tests such as Natural Killer Cells or DNA fragmentation, although if required we would be happy to arrange them for you at additional cost.
The £750 donor compensation fee set by the HFEA to cover the donor's expenses incurred during treatment.

Apricity works with its sister company Altrui Egg Donation - the UK's leading egg donation matching service. If you are at the start of your journey, our team will work closely with Altrui to help find your egg donor.
There are several stages to treatment using egg donation.
Altrui offers an egg donor search & match service that is personally tailored to meet your needs, with a highly experienced and knowledgeable team ready to help find and recruit an egg donor.
The first step is to register as a client with Altrui, by providing details about you and what you are looking for in a donor, signing the agreement and making payment.
Once you are referred through to Apricity by Altrui, we arrange a call with you to help us to understand what is important to you in your journey and design together your bespoke journey.
Shortly after this call payment will be requested by issuing a full invoice through our secure system.
This stage usually takes 2-3 months and relates to your donor having all required tests, counselling and genetic screening to ensure that she is suitable to be an egg donor for you. In the event that the donor is not able to continue we will refer you back to Altrui, to find an alternative donor for you within six months.
However if you decide not to continue with treatment, we will process a refund to the value of £8,500.
Once your donor has been cleared to proceed, we will work with you both to plan and start your treatment journey.
We are committed to providing a fertility journey based around your needs and preferences. Explore our additional services, which you can add to enhance your package upfront or any stage of your treatment.
*Evidence on the effectiveness of acupuncture and reflexology for this purpose is unclear and for most patients having routine in vitro fertilisation (IVF) is effective without using any complementary therapies.
We are committed to refund you in case unfortunate events happen.
